About NMIJ CRM

“NMIJ CRM” is certified reference material (CRM) manufactured from National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ). Production in accordance with quality management system based on ISO Guide 34^*1 (revised by ISO 17034) and ISO Guide 35^*2.

*2: ISO Guide 35 (JIS Q 0035: Reference materials -- General and statistical principles for certification)

The definition of CRM is that “Reference material characterized by a metro logically valid procedure for one or more specified properties, accompanied by a certificate that provides the value of the specified property, its associated uncertainty, and a statement of the metrological traceability”.
